“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” ― Plato

Music is an extremely important subject for all children as the artistic education develops the whole brain and develops a child’s imagination.

In Pick Me Academy our music events are very important for our students as these are a way to connect with other people. Using music from other times, cultures, and countries give them the chance to travel all around the world and to cultural awareness.

Kids who study the arts learn to think creatively. This kind of education can help them solve problems by thinking outside the box and realizing that there may be more than one right answer.

In Pick Me Academy the music classes provide a fun and comfortable environment for our students.

The Head of Art Department, Cezar Ouatu, an amazing experienced music teacher shares his best practices both with our students and teachers.

During the music classes our students have the chance to explore sounds by identifying how sounds can be made with a variety of instruments, describing sounds such a hitting, scraping, shaking, using sounds to create a pattern and making differences between sounds: high/low, loud/soft.
The students are guided to use their voice to control sounds, but also to create vocal sequences using long and short sounds.
They also practice making a sequence of rhythm and play it on various instruments (piano, maracas, guitar, African drums, castanets etc. )
